Doggie bath day Helping Our Pets in Limestone County will sponsor a doggie “splish-splash bath” day from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Propane at 17026 U.S. 72 West, across from West End Chevron. Proceeds will help feed, vaccinate, spay or neuter, and shelter pets of local families with limited income. Cost is $5 for small dogs; $10 for medium dogs; and $15 for large dogs. Dogs must be on a leash. No aggressive dogs. No haircuts or nail trimming. Each participant will receive $5 off a 20-pound barbecue grill cylinder from Heritage Propane. Call (256) 431-5784. WEDNESDAY Mud Volleyball deadline Deadline for the 21st Annual CASA Mud Volleyball tournament is noon Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
