Relay for Life lock up
Athens will sponsor a lock up Monday to raise money for Relay for Life. Donate $5 and have someone locked up. They have to pay $20 or raise $20 to be released. Call Janet Parris at (256) 233-8737 for more information.

Jewelry sale
The Athens-Limestone Hospital education department will hold a jewelry sale from 8:30 a.m-6:30 p.m. Monday. Proceeds go to the Hospital Auxiliary.

Used book sale
Friends of Athens-Limestone Public Library will hold a used book sale from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday.

Papa John’s helps Relay for Life
Papa John’s Pizza is donating 10 percent of all sales on Wednesday to Team St. Paul, a Relay for Life team for the American Cancer Society.

Fashion Show tickets on sale now
Dogwood Festival Fashion Show tickets are now on sale at the RSVP office, Keep Athens-Limestone Beautiful Office or All About Me. The fashion show will be at noon Tuesday, April 29. Tickets are $25 per person. For more information, call (256) 232-7207.

Head Start recruitment
Head Start of Limestone County is currently taking applications for enrollment at both Tanner and Elkton Road locations. Children must be age 4 by Sept. 2 and be a legal resident of Madison or Limestone counties. Services are free to those families who meet the income guideline for 2008.
