Motters celebrate 50 years

Jimmy and Catherine Motter

Jimmy and Catherine Motter of Elkmont recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. They decided to make their golden anniversary memorable with a return visit to Toledo, Ohio, the site of their wedding nuptials. Mr. and Mrs. Motter were married Sept. 5, 1959. Their family hosted a celebration in their honor with a traditional steak dinner at Mancy’s Restaurant and a Wixey’s Cake. They have three children, Carol Motter, Cynthia Sanders, both of Athens, and Christine Eddie of Elkmont.
