The Limestone County Sports Hall of Fame inducted 12 members during the Class of 2013 banquet Saturday at the Limestone County Event Center. The inductees or their family representatives were Henry White, front row from left to right, Kathi Coggin Bailey, Sandra Rose, Mary Jane Hobbs and R.C. “Brownie” Nelson. Back row from left are Tommy Groce, Merrill Provience, Cody Sweetland, Russell “Rusty” Brand, Charles “Chuck” Allen, Jo Jo Smith and Jerome Wagnon. Sandra Rose was representing her late husband, Paul “Jack” Rose Sr., and Merrill Provience was standing in for his late father, Hadley “H.B.” Provience.


A recent national telephone survey found 75 percent of respondents believe the sale and use of pot will eventually be legal nationwide. Do you think marijuana should be legal in Alabama?
