Athens’ six home runs are the second-most all time in AHSAA history. Ider holds the team record with eight home runs in 2000. Jordan also etched her name in the AHSAA record books with three individual home runs. Jordan’s three home runs are tied for first in AHSAA fast-pitch softball history. Caldwell hit two home runs and Kerr added the other homer for Athens. Athens improved to 5-1 in area play with the win.
