Ringing up the K's: Baugher strikes out 14 in complete-game win

— West Limestone junior Grant Baugher struck out 14 hitters on Monday, leading the Wildcats to a 3-1 victory at Wilson in a Class 4A, Area 16 matchup.

Baugher, who improved to 3-1 on the mound, tossed an 86-pitch complete game, scattering three singles and one double in seven innings while only giving up two walks.

The 6-foot-2-inch righthander also went 2-for-3 at the plate, hitting a double and a single.

West Limestone (4-12) trailed 1-0 early before pushing across two runs in the fourth inning. Stevie Romero, Rudy Johnson and Brayden Clem each had RBIs, with Clem scoring the third insurance run.
