BREAKING: Overtime win sends Athens to finals W/VIDEO

— Riley Ridgeway scored a goal a minute into overtime to send Athens to the 5A state championship game.

After a scoreless regulation period, Ridgeway's left-footed shot sailed over the keeper’s head to give Athens a 1-0 win.

It will be Athens’ second consecutive state finals appearance. The team will play St. Paul’s at 10 a.m. Saturday morning.
