— Athens senior Alliyah Smith signed a basketball scholarship with Northwest Florida College at a ceremony Tuesday morning at Athens High School. Smith, a six-foot, two-inch center, played in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game along with the AHSAA North-South All-Star game.
