— ABS remains undefeated with a pair of shutouts

After coming off a 13-0 win on Tuesday against area opponent Waterloo, the Athens Bible School varsity baseball team looked to remain unbeaten as they hosted a doubleheader against R.A. Hubbard Thursday afternoon.

ABS defeated Hubbard 20-0 in the first game, followed by a 17-0 win in the second game.

Bridgette Wilson’s double drove home the game winning run as East Limestone beat rival Athens 3-2 in nine innings Thursday.
