County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday: 

• Shelia Paige Benson, 51, of 80 Long St., Savannah, Tenn., negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Fredrick Lloyd Black, 18, of 12315 Burgreen Road, Madison, third-degree criminal trespassing

• Clarence Collier, 58, of 12298 Snake Road, Athens, bond revoked for public intoxication

• David Ruiz Ortiz, 38, of Alabama 67, Priceville, detained for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

• Rhynia Carver Pendleton, 41, of 710 S. Clinton St., Apt. 302, Athens, probation revoked for driving under the influence

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Tuesday.

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the follow arrests Tuesday:

• Joseph Everett Guidry, 23, of 307 Colbert St., Athens, third-degree theft and violated probation for third-degree theft

• Rickie Dean Wilson, 50, of 803 Brownsferry St., Athens, carrying a pistol without a permit and contempt of court

• Renee Tovar Alonzo, 43, of 1101 U.S. 31, Room 145, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (menacing)

• Takkayas Rahsaan Gill, 25, of 602 Grave Ave., Athens, harassing communications

• Michael Duane Moore, 29, of 13222 U.S. 31 South, Apt. 7, failure to obtain travel permit (sex offender)

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• Two checks of undetermined value stolen Feb. 11 in the 1000 block of U.S. 72 East

• Various clothes and toys, total value $500, stolen Feb. 13 in the 1500 block of Grace Avenue

• Copper from Rudd brand central unit, valued at $4,600, stolen between Feb. 10 and 13 in 14000 block Maryanna Drive
