County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Billy Joe Carruth Jr., 41, of 14888 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, second-degree receiving stolen property

• Corey Aris Davis, 24, of 5705 Highway 101, Rogersville, hold for court (third-degree burglary)

• Nicolas Comi Guerrero, 23, of 10988 Stewart Road, Tanner, hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

• Steven Letroy McCurley, 30, of 1611 Sanderfer St., Athens, surety rescinds bond on previous charge of first-degree theft

• Cory Luke White, 29, of 15127 Elk River Mills Road, Athens, destroying state property

• Angel Monzell Wilson, 36, of 605 N. Malone St., Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents and thefts Wednesday:

• Border collie, valued at $75, stolen Nov. 24 at Keeton and East Limestone roads

• ATHENS – Flat-screen TV, no value listed, burglarized Dec. 4 in 16000 block Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road

• ATHENS – Sanyo four-head VCR, valued at $75, and $157 cash stolen Dec. 4 in 14000 block Chris Way

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrest Wednesday:

• Lisa Marie McMahan,  25, of 10350 U.S. 72 West, Lot 5, Athens, possession of a forged instrument

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following theft Wednesday:

• Twenty-inch yellow and black Eager Beaver chain saw, valued at $100, stolen Dec. 5 in 100 block West Hobbs Street
