ATHENS —

County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday and Saturday:

• Kimberly Diane Farris, 37, of 23589 Slate Road, Athens, harassment

• William Lester Osborn, 45, of 16623 Davis Lane, Elkmont, obstruction of government operations

• Pablo Lopez Ramos, 23, of 1410 N. Jefferson St., Lot H, Athens, hold for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

 

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• ELKMONT — Tools, rope and tool box, no value given, stolen during breaking and entering of a vehicle between Dec. 20 and 26 in 28900 block Alabama 99

• ELKMONT — Sentry safe, Raven .25-caliber handgun, .25-caliber ammunition, total value $160, and $2,500 cash, stolen Dec. 26 in 18100 block Coffman Road

• ATHENS — Flat-screen TV and medications, no value given, stolen Dec. 26 in 14200 block Shaw Road

 

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday and Saturday:

• James Madson Rowe, 24, of 106 Shaw St., Athens, second-degree theft, driving with a suspended license, failure to display insurance

• Harold Kintrell Robinson, 35, of 701 W. Pryor St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance

• Kenneth Ray Pylant, 52, of 14355 U.S. 72, Athens, leaving the scene of an accident

• Fernando Cortez Johnson, 22, of 302 Colbert St., Athens, failure to appear, driving while revoked

• William Josiah Brown, 21, of 13905 Section Line Road, Elkmont, no insurance, expired tag

• Sharon Hatfield Gaines, 51, of 669 N. Horse Cove Road, Gurley, failure to appear, third-degree theft

 

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday, Friday and Saturday:

• Dental floss, Red Bull, toothbrush, powder, towel, skinny jeans, dress, sweaters and other miscellaneous items, total value $151, stolen Dec. 24 at Walmart

• Kitchen play set, “The Walking Dead” game and Hello Kitty plush pillow, $75, stolen Dec. 24 in 500 block South Jefferson Street

• Five PlayStation 4 controllers, two shoe inserts and four DVDs, total value $477, stolen Dec. 24 at Walmart

• Bersa blue .380-caliber automatic pistol, value $308, stolen from vehicle between Dec. 19 and 23 in 900 block East Hobbs Street
