County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Friday and Saturday:

• Kristen Lynn Anyan, 29, of 20455 Upper Fort Hampton Road, Elkmont, obstruction of justice

• John Scott Baker, 30, of 6490 Prospect Road, Prospect, Tennessee, fugitive justice (Giles County, Tennessee) 

• Joshua Allen Dean, 35, of 331 Cedar Trail Lane, Harvest, probation revocation on previous conviction for negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Steven Eugene Hacker, 23, of 16376 Parker Road, Athens, second-degree receiving stolen property

• Justin Lee Jarrett, 24, of 2611 County Road 34, Florence, third-degree domestic violence (assault)

• Katherine Leann Journey, 34, of 7259 Tommy Hill Road, Anderson, two counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Jeremy Lee Smith, 37, of 1212 Twin Lake Circle, Hartselle, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a precursor (grand jury indictments)

• Jimmy Wayne Andrews Jr., 35, of 8333 Old Rail Road Bed Road, Ardmore, first-degree theft

• Caleb James Brown, 22, of 27723 McKee Road, Toney, third-degree burglary

• Miguel Rico Gomez, 38, of 2201 Woodridge Apt. B, Athens, possession of a controlled substance, driving under influence

• Maria Magdalena Gonzalez, 37, 2201 Woodridge Drive, Athens, possession of a controlled substance

• Jessica Rea Johnson, 40, of 501 Old Decatur Road, Lot F, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Billy Jay Moran, 30, of 4381 Old Railroad Bed, Harvest, third-degree domestic violence

• Michael Wayne Powers, 38, of 14835 Zehner Road, Athens, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia

• James Howard Robertson, 35, of 24220 Cottonbelt Road, Elkmont, third-degree domestic violence (assault)

• Mark Waymond Wilson, 41, of 300 Glennwood Drive, Madison, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Friday:

• ATHENS — .25-caliber handgun valued at $250 and four car batteries valued at $400 stolen May 31 from 16000 block Parker Road

• ANDERSON — Tools and power tools of unknown value stolen May 21 from 28000 block Persimmon Tree Road

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Ronald Franklin Stephens, 34, of 700 S. Clinton Street, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Laderrick L. Thompson, 19, of 24676 McClung Lane, Athens, probation revoked on previous convictions for receiving stolen property, third-degree domestic violence

• Billy Jay Moran, 30, of 4381 Old Railroad Bed Road, Harvest, domestic violence

• Kelley Nacole Haggermaker, 20, 13222 U.S. 31 South, Apt. 7, Athens, domestic violance-harassment

• Maria M. Gonzalez-Torres, 37, of 2201 Woodridge Drive, Athens, possession of a controlled substance

• Miguel Rico Gomez, 38, of 2201 Woodridge Drive, Athens, possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of a controlled substance

• Mark Waymond Wilson, 41, of 300 Glenwood Drive, Madison, third-degree domestic violence-harassment

• Jessica Morris Johnson, 40, of 501 Old Decatur Road, Lot F, Athens, third-degree domestic violence-harassment

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• Black Coach brand wallet valued at $75 and containing Social Security card, $400 and credit and debit cards stolen during vehicle break-in June 3 from 600 block Jefferson Street
