County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Shirley Adams, 52, of 28609 Pettusville Road, Elkmont, second-degree theft

• Mack Raymond Balch, 57, of 15121 Joseph Drive, Athens, driving under the influence of combined substances

• Ramiro Cruz Quiroz, 46, of 14686 McCulley Mill Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• James Devin Ray, 36, of 21742 Bean Road, Athens, third-degree burglary

• Zachary Lee Smith, 26, of 11967 Neely Road, Lot 4, Tanner, grand jury indictment for trafficking opium, first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Jason Shane Taylor, 44, of 26751 Lambert Road, Elkmont, harassment

• Robert Christopher Thompson, 23, of 4218 N. Fairway Drive, Punta Gorda, Florida, third-degree promoting prison contraband

 

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Thursday:

• TANNER — Apple iPad, clippers and cash, total value $580, stolen between June 10 and 11 in 11100 block U.S. 31 South

• ATHENS — Two Capital One credit cards and book of checks, no value listed, stolen between May 10 and 11 in 13400 block L&M Acres Drive

• ATHENS — Jewelry, value $3,285, stolen June 9 in 26600 block Flanagan Road

• ATHENS — Food stamp card and Redstone check card, no value given, stolen June 11 in 15800 block Dupree Drive

• MADISON — Verizon iPhone 5, value $200, stolen June 11 in 12100 block County Line Road

• TONEY — Mold detective kit, no value given, stolen June 11 in 27800 block McKee Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Logan Dewayne Frost, 24, of 803 ½ Irvin St., Athens, arrest for Decatur Police Department

• Michelle Dawn Hinds, 35, of 21258 Ashley Brook Way, Elkmont, probation revoked on previous conviction for possession of drug paraphernalia

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following new theft Thursday:

• Otter phone case, value $43, stolen June 11 at Wal-Mart
