County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Monday:

• Roger Chad Abernathy, 38, of 22608 Smith Road, Athens, nonpayment of  child support

• Brooke Lauren Clingan, 30, of 1110 Snow Point Road, Guntersville, two counts of negotiating worthless negotiable instrument

• Tony Anthony Coleman, 22, of 24573 McClung Lane, Athens, first-degree illegal possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance

• Damon Gene Cook, 28, of 568 County Road 533, Fyfe, probation revocation on a previous conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol

• Michael Douglas, 35, of 25065 Narrow Lane, Belle Mina, public intoxication

• Julien Christopher Lefort, 21, of 190 Lakeside Drive, Killen, DUI, resisting arrest and second-degree assault

• Jeremy Lee Rose, 34, of 15394 Fort Hampton Road, Elkmont, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

 

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office theft report was not available on Monday.

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Lisa Nicole Denby, 31, of 609 Acorn Hill Circle, Athens, two counts of menacing

• Tony Anthony Coleman, 22, of 24573 McClung Lane, Athens, third-degree theft of property

• Rokeshia Roxanne Orr, 23, of 1711 W. Elm St., Athens, arrest for Decatur Police

• Jessica Rea Johnson, 40, 501 Old Decatur Road, Lot F, Athens, probation revocation on a previous conviction for third-degree domestic violence (harassment) and resisting arrest

• Kera Beth Griffin, 18, of 18061 Sewell Road, Athens, third-degree theft

• Gustavio Oracio Delgado, 31, 3210 Morris Road, Decatur, DUI and on hold by Limestone County for Immigration and Customs Inforcement

• Willie O'Neal Grizzard, 29, of 215 Sanderfer Road, Athens, third-degree criminal trespassing and probation revocation on a previous conviction for harassment

• Lance Skyler Thornton, 18, of 16974 Coffman Road, Elkmont, third-degree criminal trespassing

• Jennifer Beryl Strong, 56, of 1883 Cherrytree Road, Gurley, disorderly  conduct

• Dustin Lee Berzett, 26, of 604 First St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Leslie Drew Pinkey, 33, 20097 Yarbrough Road, Athens, third-degree theft of property

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Monday:

• Three park lights damaged, valued at $300, June 12 in the 800 block of 5th Avenue

• Four Cooper vehicle parts and accessories damaged, total value $900, June 10 in the 200 block of Mill Street

• Otterbox case and Apple iPad, total value $680, stolen Friday during the breaking and entering of a vehicle in the 14000 block of Mooresville Road

• Evidence of stolen CD/Video, no value given, stolen June 7 from Wal-Mart

• Cosmetics and female underwear, total value $194.62, stolen Saturday from Wal-Mart

• Damage to dashboard, sun visor, and touch-screen radio of a Dodge Ram, totaling $1,100, due to criminal mischief Sunday in the Wal-Mart parking lot

• Money and a Samsung Galaxy S-5, total value $1,070, stolen Sunday from Wal-Mart

• Three bags of Dollar General brand charcoal, two bottles of Black Magic Bleche-Wite and three containers of Black Magic tire wash, total value $41.50, stolen Sunday from 600 S. Jefferson St.

• One Dollar General jumbo pack of diapers, valued at $6,stolen Monday from Dollar General, 1210 N. Jefferson St., Athens

• Western Union cashier's check, valued at $420, stolen Saturday from the 700 block of Fifth Avenue
