County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Kristen Lynn Anyan, 29, of 20455 Upper Fort Hampton, Elkmont, negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• Robert Bonard Beasley, 41, of 1109 W. Pryor St., Athens, second-degree theft

• Keith James Blair, 24, of 25883 Smithfield Road, Elkmont, two counts of second-degree forgery

• Justin Lee Gordon, 25, of 270 Nancy Green Ridge, Goodsprings, Tennessee, violated probation on previous conviction for possession of drug paraphernalia

• Gregory Scott Poss, 31, of 19135 Townsend Ford Road, Athens, two counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Brenda Deann Smith, 39, of 20255 Townsend Ford Road, Athens, public intoxication

• Garth Allison Thompson, 50, of 456 Smith Vasser Road, Harvest, violated probation on previous conviction for obstructed windshield

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• ELKMONT – Bedroom furniture set, washer and dryer and curtains and rods set, total value $700, stolen between July 10 and 11 in 16600 block Upper Fort Hampton Road

• ATHENS – Makita circular saw and drill/impact wrench, Craftsman tool box with tools, $1,169, stolen between July 12 and 14 in 16900 block Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road

• ATHENS – Homemade utility trailer, value $400,  stolen between July 13 and 14 in 19200 block Alabama 127

• ELKMONT – Grumman 16-foot canoe, three boat paddles and three life jackets, total value $1,200, stolen between July 12 and 14 in 29000 block Alabama 127

• ATHENS – $640 cash stolen July 11 in 18800 block Carter Circle

• ATHENS – Vizio 40-inch TV, value $600, stolen July 14 in 17500 block Tucker Lane

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Jeffrey Grant Adcock, 50, of 19262 Alabama 127, Athens, DUI

• David Wayne Holladay, 43, of 17300 Fairway Drive, Athens, possession of a controlled substance and DUI

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• Sony 1200 GB PlayStation 3, Uncharted 3 video game, Borderlands 2 video game and wireless controller, total value $450, stolen between July 12 and 13 in 700 block Swan Drive

• Two tires, value $80, stolen July 14 in 13200 block U.S. 31

• Liter of Mountain Dew, value $1, stolen July 14 in 1200 block East Pryor Street

• Criminal mischief to window, value $100, between July 14 and 15 in 1300 block North Jefferson Street

• $40 cash stolen July 14 in 1200 block East Pryor Street
