County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• James Keith Adams, 34, of 12240 Lukers Way, Athens, driving under the influence of drugs, driving with a suspended license, improper lane use and illegal possession of prohibited liquor

• Timothy Dewayne Horton, 40, of 12030-A Pulaski Pike, Toney, surety rescinds bond on previous charge of nine counts of possession of a forged instrument

• Bobby Glenn Pylant, 41, of 14755 Elk River Mills Road, Athens, public intoxication and open container of alcohol

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• ATHENS — JVC CD player, Kenwood CD player, JVC 5700 amp, pre-amp, two Kickers 15-inch speakers and Clarion pre-amp, total value $2,399, stolen between June 2 and 3 in 14300 block Blackburn Road

• ATHENS — Cub Cadet rototiller and wire chicken pen, total value $800, stolen between May 9 and June 3 on U.S. 72 West

• ELKMONT — Fossil watch, .22-caliber handgun, German P-38 handgun, Xbox Connect and box of checks, total value $100, stolen between April 22 and May 30 in 12100 block Salem Field Lane

• ATHENS — Kubota 3220 tractor, value $15,000, stolen between May 24 and June 3 in 11400 block Mooresville Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Terri Brinkley Palma, 38, of 11184 Caroline Drive, Apt. 525, Tanner, third-degree theft

• Elizabeth Whitman Day, 49, of 202 Chestnut St., Athens, public intoxication

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Five girls shirts, six girls shorts, 16 general merchandise items and 11 food items, total value $178, stolen June 3 at Wal-Mart

• Miscellaneous food and cash, total value $120, stolen June 2 in 100 block North Jefferson Street
