County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Ronald Joe Carr, 58, of 17575 Tucker Lane, Athens, second-degree theft deception

• Whittly Montrue Davis, 25, of 100 E. Sanderfer Road, Apt. 107, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for third-degree theft

• John Austin Franks, 35, of 28015 Chasebrook Drive, Harvest, negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• Crystal Lynne Fuqua, 22, of 29106 Lakeview Drive, Ardmore, negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• Dustin Gregory Hargrove, 29, of 21492 New Garden Road, Elkmont, bond revoked on previous charge of second-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Kevin Dewayne Jordan, 29, of 14290 Quinn Road, Athens, negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• Cody Justin Kennedy, 27, of 17045 Sneed St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Brandon Oneal Mitchell, 25, of 27894 Sterling Road, Ardmore, violated probation on previous conviction for second-degree theft

 

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• ATHENS — Commercial battery tester, Rockwell circular saw, Husqvarna chain saw, total value $450, stolen between Feb. 22 and March 2 in 19200 block Alabama 127

• ATHENS — SSI check, value $137, stolen Feb. 28 in 23600 block Miller Road

• ATHENS — North Face backpack and four books, total value $180, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle Feb. 14 in 25600 block Caldera Drive

• ATHENS — Garmin GPS, lamp and change purse with change, total value $140, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle Feb. 14 in 25600 block Caldera Drive

• ATHENS — Change purse with change, value $5, taken  during breaking and entering of a vehicle Feb. 14 in 25600 block Caldera Drive

• Archie Curry, 54, of 2107 Shady Lane Circle NW, Huntsville, third-degree theft

• Ralph Eddie Miller, 35, of 16495 Upper Fort Hampton, Elkmont, theft of property

• Crystal Lea Vanhoozer, 35,of 16495 Upper Fort Hampton Road, Elkmont, theft of property

• Marcellus Cardelra Ervin, 19, of 1565 Nick Davis Road, Apt. B, Harvest, third-degree theft

• Clarence E. Heard, 50, homeless, third-degree and second-degree crimnal mischief

• Labrontae Lamar Sales, 22, of 16750 Wellhouse Drive, Harvest, breaking and entering a vehicle and possession of a forged instrument

 

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Tuesday:

• Criminal mischief to window, value $400, between March 2 and 3 in 300 block South Marion Street

• Criminal mischief to front window, value $900, between March 1 and 3 in 600 block South Jefferson Street

• Driver’s license, value $5, stolen March 3 in 200 block Roberts Street

• Gucci cologne, value $70, stolen March 3 at Walmart

• Camouflage velcro wallet, Woodforest banking debit card, U.S. currency, Alabama driver’s license, Social Security card, Ceridian card and wallet size high school diploma, total value $81, stolen March 3 in 200 block Durham Drive

• $120 cash and medication, no value given, stolen March 3 in 900 block Mason Street

• Two tires, no value given, stolen March 4 at Walmart

• Two thin rib-eye steaks and six rib-eye steaks, total value $133, stolen March 3 at Walmart
