— County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• C.J. Burton, 22, of 15804 Evans Road, Athens, driving while suspended

• Tammy Rene Craig, 38, of 15281 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, Athens, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for driving under the influence

• Michael Philip Owen, 55, of 18414 Alabama 99, Lot 100, Athens, DUI and failing to dim headlights

• George Morris Pylant Sr., 41, of 21216 Old Elkmont Road, Athens, DUI and no proof of insurance

• Carolyn Melissa Whitten, 42, of 1050 County Road 144, Killen, two counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Denise Yvonne Wright, 40, of 1100 Joe Wheeler Drive, Tuscumbia, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Tyson Royce Wynn, 323, of 469 Baltimore Road, Huntsville, first-degree possession of marijuana and attempting to elude

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Yellow 2005 Ford Mustang convertible valued at $12,000 stolen Feb. 14 or 15 from 28000 block Johnson Cemetery Road

• Fossil brand Auburn National Championship watch, one bucket of 70-grade logging chain and $25 in change, total $385, stolen Feb. 14 or 15 from 20000 block Sandy Road

• Fishing tackle boxes and contents valued at $350 stolen from 16000 block Ennis Road between Jan. 23 and Feb. 15

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Rose Mary Sherrill, 35, of 154 Deer Trace Parkway, New Market, third-degree domestic violence (menacing)

• Jeffery Bryan Wise, 45, of 206 Woodridge Drive, Athens, bond revocation

• Helen Hill Miller, 64, of 24895 Airport Road, Athens, possession of a controlled substance

• Kerry Lynn Green, 22, of 19632 Piney Chapel Road, Lot 15, Athens, arrest for Decatur Police Department

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following theft Wednesday:

• Raven brand .25-caliber pistol, Cobra brand global-positioning system and radar detector, and Norseman buffalo knife with leather holster, total $450, stolen Feb. 15 from vehicle at 22186 Shawnee Lane

Hospital report

Athens-Limestone Hospital reported two admissions and two discharges Wednesday:

Admitted: Neda Wallace and Lela Mae Williams, both of Athens

Discharged: Timothy Stewart and Flecy Wright, both of Athens
