County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday and Saturday:

• William Christopher Adams, 40, of 112 Sunset Drive, Mount Juliet, Tenn., probation violation (Sumner Count, Tenn.)

• Mary Ashley Blankenship, 26, of 15484 Mill Valley Drive, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• Regina Lynn Kassay, 39, of 21475 Alabama 127, Elkmont, violated probation on previous conviction for negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• Eircha Lynn Murphy, 45, of 10378 U.S. 72 West, Lot F, Athens, three counts of negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• Charles Wayne Phillips, 39, of 15790 Dupree Drive, Athens, third-degree theft

• John Thomas Posey, 36, of 606 N. Beaty St., Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for second-degree receiving stolen property (Limestone County Community Corrections Program)

• James Franchot Swinford, 31, of 21671 E. Limestone Road, Athens, second-degree possession of marijuana

• Frank Benjamin Bedwell, 43, of 17436 Highway 1057, Kentwood, La., failing to pay child support

• Joni Lynn Cooper, 39, of 704 Sanders St., Athens, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Clinton Harold Dugger, 31, of 21804 David Drive, Elkmont, harassment

• Marshall Glenn McCafferty, 46, of 26525 Bethel Road, Elkmont, public intoxication

• Bobby Derrall McConnell Jr., 38, of 25424 Flanagan Road, Athens, four counts of negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• John Braden Meredith, 37, of 26992 Pepper Road, Athens, third-degree theft

• Sasha Nichole Rose, 33, of 16957 Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road, third-degree domestic violence (harassment), resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and second-degree assault (of an officer)

• Joseph Lindsey Shores, 32, of 11874 Vasser St., Capshaw, first-degree sexual abuse of a child under age 12

• Latonya Denette Troupe, 43, of 21720 Piney Chapel Road, Lot 51, Athens, driving under the influence of drugs

 

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• ATHENS — Frigidaire stove and refrigerator, Whirlpool dryer, microwave, 42-inch TV, lawnmower, total value $1,340, stolen between March 5 and 6 in 23500 block Lanes Way

• ATHENS — 2004 Chevrolet Silverado truck, value $11,000, stolen between March 5 and 6 in 25800 block U.S. 72
