County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Jeremy Joe Bates, 33, of 12092 Lukers Way, Athens, driving under the influence

• Michael Dean Biase, 25, of 28630 Old Scrouge Road, Elkmont, hold for Giles County Sheriff's Office

• Ted Allen Hagood, 49, of 21154 Myrtlewood Drive, Athens, harassing communications

• Ryan Nicholas Mooneyham, 29, of 11212 Morris Drive, Madison, violated probation on previous conviction for possession of a controlled substance (Limestone County Community Corrections Program)

• Brandon Glen Peacock, 23, of 100 O'Conner Drive, Athens, second-degree theft

• Monteze Ray Sales, 23, of 2908 Wilson Drive, Huntville, violated probation on previous conviction for third-degree burglary (Limestone County Community Corrections Program)

• Tiffany Ann Sharp, 26, of 23314 Fain Road, Elkmont, bond revoked on previous charge of second-degree possession of a forged instrument

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday:

• HARVEST — Four Corvette tires and rims and two Ryobi weed trimmers, total value $2,675, stolen between May 4 and 7 in 900 block Love Branch Road

• TANNER — IPhone, value $600, stolen May 7 in 12000 block Sommers Road

• ATHENS — Proof sets of coins for years 1957, 1959 and 1960, no value given, stolen May 7 in 26300 block Drawbaugh Road

• ATHENS — Emerson TV, Marshall amplifier and microphone, Washburn guitar, Samsung 48-inch TV and CDs, total value $2,450, stolen between May 2 and 7 in 26200 block Copeland Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Joanne Joy Burke, 35, of 605 W. Washington St., Athens, attempting to commit a controlled substance crime

• Andrew Steven Cook, 29, of 402 N. Jefferson St., Apt. G-4, Powers Apts., Athens, possession of drug paraphernalia

• Kathy Lynn Hilliard, 51, of White Trailer Court, Segers Road, Madison, public intoxication

• Mickey Allen Jacobs, 45, of 204 Bailey St., Athens, harassment

• LeeAnn Johnson, 39, of 303 Courtney Drive, Apt. 59, Decatur, second-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Jamal Cortez Taylor, 25, of 700 Fifth Ave., Q53, Athens, domestic violence (harassment)

• Amanda Diana Wallace, 33, of 15371 Arlington Road, Athens, arrest for other agency

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following theft Thursday:

• Dodge Caravan, no value given, stolen May 7 in 1000 block U.S. 72 East
