County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

 Robert Lee Brown, 54, of 210 Maple Street, Athens, domestic violence (criminal mischief)

• William Phillip Deweese, 43, of 27645 Gretta Circle, Ardmore, four counts of negotiating worthless negotiable instrument

• Jason Allen Hargrove, 29, of 27110 Oak Grove Road, Elkmont, public intoxication

• Bryan Dean Cypret, 39, of 15327 Tyler Mill Drive, disorderly conduct

• John Daniel Williams Jr., 49, of 28769 Alabama 127, Elkmont, DUI (combined drug and alcohol), and second-degree illegal possession of marijuana


County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department theft report was unavailable Monday.


City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Michael Darren Pylant, 47, 16478 Becky St., Athens, harassment (simple assault)

• Gary Dale Amerson, 36, of 13470 Quinn Road, Athens, theft of property

• Aliesha Lynne Hayes, 30, of 1134 Echo Trail, Warrior, third-degree theft of property

• Samuel Vazquez-Zaragoza, 23, of 501-D Old Decatur Road, Athens, public intoxication

• Erskin Lee Brown, 47, of 207 Sanderfer Road, Athens, driving under the influence of alcohol

• Felix Andreos, 42, of 19125 Runway St., Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• John Braden Meredith, 37, 26992 Pepper Road, Athens, third-degree theft of property

• Ruben Sanchez, 29, of 305 Chestnut St., Athens, DUI

• Brandi Danyelle Ball, 36, of 18282 Circle drive, possession of drug paraphernalia (first offense), possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence (combined drug and alcohol)

• Tommy Lee Wray, 57, of 22703 New Garden Road, Elkmont, DUI

• Andres Martinez Gonzalez, 26, of 19260 Airfield St., Lot 67, Athens, DUI

• Brandon Dewayne Mosley, 22, of 1201 Brownsferry Street, Athens, second-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Kerry Lynn Green, 26, of 19632 Piney Chapel Road, Lot 15, Athens, arrested for Decatur Police.

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• Electric range, Whirlpool 22-cubic-foot refrigerator, Ashley living room furniture, and Whirlpool18-cubic-foot refrigerator, total value $3,614.26, theft by fraudulent leasing between April 11, 2013 and Friday from the 1000 block of U.S. 72 East

• Six-piece tool set, pair of extra-large gloves, cell phone charger, two flashlights, Otimus F3 LG smart phone, U.S. currency, two Social Security cards, and a plastic wallet, total value $408.85, stolen Friday from Walmart
