County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Morgan Rex Adcock, 24, of 18861 Alabama 99, Athens, possession of a controlled substance and bond revocation; deputy allegedly found pills while arresting subject on warrant

• Gary Lee Amerson, 43, of 20064 Townsend Ford Road, Lot 20, Athens, harassment 

• Edward Dean Brandon, 39, of 20064 Townsend Ford Road, Lot 8, Athens, parole violation (Kentucky)  

• Thomas Brandon Carr, 28, of 17575 Tucker Lane, Athens, bond revocation on previous charge of second-degree possession of marijuana 

• Shawn Robert Edmondson, 24, of 26661 Whitt St., Apt. 24, Ardmore, bond revocation on previous charge of second-degree theft

• Heath Allen Griffin, 29, of 17098 Seven Mile Post Road, Athens, third-degree criminal trespass

• Lindsey Suzanne Lowrey, 25, of 110 Stagecoach Drive, Madison, driving under the influence (drugs)

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• Book of checks of unknown value stolen Aug. 17 or 18 from 26000 block Nick Davis Road

• Jewelry, perfume and $74 in cash, total $3,200, stolen Aug. 15 or 16 from 22000 block Mooresville Road  

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Friday:

• Larquis Delmar Crutcher, 22, of 1807 Levert Circle, Athens, arrested on warrant for second-degree criminal mischief

• Heath Allen Griffin, 29, of 1798 Seven Mile Post Road, Athens, third-degree criminal trespass

• James Payton Nye, 42, of 24271 Mooresville Road, Athens, DUI

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Friday:

• Rogue brand mandolin, Magnavox brand DVD/VCR combo, compound bow, two chairs, Emerson brand microwave oven, Dora brand scooter, Ibanez brand amplifier, RCA brand television, Magnavox TV, wooden glider, three glass shelving units, total $990, stolen during burglary in 100 block East Elm Street between Aug. 1 and 17

• Porter-Cable brand trim nailer, Hitachi brand skill saw, Aroma brand ice cream maker and Apple brand iPod MP3 player, total $450, stolen during burglary in 400 block North Houston Street between July 25 and Aug. 18

• Makita brand angle grinder and Porter-Cable circular saw, total $189, stolen from 22000 block Nick Davis Road between Aug. 1 and 15
