County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Brittany Lynn Bertin, 25, of 103 Timberland Chase, Madison, third-degree burglary

• Jose Jainto-Villalva, 38, of 21720 Piney Chapel Road, Athens, driving under the influence of alcohol

• Eric Mack Miles, 33, of 2064 Prospect Road, Elkton, Tenn., distribution of a controlled substance, first-degree  possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Brandon Mark Walter Landers, 29, non-payment of child support

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department theft reports were not available Monday.

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday.

• Codi Denisha Morrow, 27, of 18384 Oakdale Road, Lot Q, third-degree theft of property

• Calvin O'Neal Stinnett, 48, of 1401 N. Malone St., Apt. 106 B, resisting arrest

• Rebecca Lynn Cowan, 31, of 305 Oak St., third-degree theft of property

• Robert Junior Jones, 52, of 13180 Sugar Plum Lane No. 13, Madison, allowing operation of vehicle without insurance

• Scotty Dean Vinson, 33, of 305 Oak Road, theft of property

• Christina Lee Jarrett, 23, of 18869 Cross Key Road, arrest for another agency

• Kahrli Cheyenne Jarrett, 18, of 21855 Nelson Road, Elkmont, driving under the influece of a controlled substance

• Tonya Shernique Watkins, 44, of 1302 Plainview Circle, attempting to elude law enforcement and resisting arrest

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Monday:

• One radio face plate stolen and damage to the passenger side window of a Chevy Tahoe, total value $300, during the breaking and entering of a vehicle April 24 in the 800 block of North Jefferson Street

• Miscellaneous items valued at $114.63 stolen April 25 from Wal-Mart

• Miscellaneous Craftsman tools and a plastic toolbox, total value $630, stolen April 22 in the 1300 block of U.S. 72 East

• Eight-piece chicken meal and NC Sweet Tea, total value $6.96, stolen April 26 from Wal-Mart

• Unauthorized use (no force) of Ford Expedition, valued at $5,000, April. 26 in the 1400 block of Seventh Avenue

• Damage to screen door, damage to glass window pane, and theft of military issue rain jacket, total value $135, during burglary April 26, in the 600 block of North Marion Street

• Damage to window screen and window, valued at $135, due to criminal mischief April 16 in the 1600 block of West Elm Street at Athens Square Apartments
