County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• David Lee Brown, 34, of 29354 Ninth Ave., Ardmore, violated probation on previous convictions for second-degree forgery, two counts of second-degree theft and third-degree burglary (Limestone County Community Corrections Program)

• Randall Wade Chambers, 28, of 21957 Hickory Hill Lane, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for driving under the influence

• Kelly Jean Jacobs, 33, of 1201 Stanford Drive, Athens, two counts of negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• Regina Lynn Kassay, 39, of 21475 Alabama 127, Elkmont, illegal possession of prescription medication

• Christi Michelle Mann, 22, of 10350 U.S. 72, Lot T, Athens, negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• Eric Eugene McCrary, 51, of 1711 Weymouth Lane, Huntsville, violated probation on previous conviction for first-degree theft

• John Thomas Posey, 36, of 606 N. Beaty St., Athens, second-degree receiving stolen property

• Pete Calvin Smith, 54, of 3468 County Road 25, Killen, negotiating a worthless non-negotiable instrument

• Jeffery Ryan Solomon, 29, of 1308 Elkton St., Athens, third-degree theft and public intoxication

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday:

• ARDMORE — Tag decal, no value given, stolen between Nov. 1, 2013 and March 4, 28800 block Alabama 251

• ARDMORE — Comic books, hope chest, red suitcase and round tubs, no value given, stolen between Feb. 4 and March 5 at Alabama 53 and Mooresville Road

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Fernandaz Courtez Burruss, 26, of 2101 Stanford St., Athens, third-degree theft

• Denise Lynn Dover, 31, of 30134 Highway 110, Ardmore, Tenn., possession of a controlled substance and third-degree theft

• Valarie Leanne Gullett, 20, of 16139 Blackburn Lane, Athens, harassing communications

• Nathan Gene Harville, 20, of 501 Swan Drive, Apt. 614, Athens,  disorderly conduct

• Robert Stanley McBay, 20, of 1201 N. Houston St., Athens, harassing communications

• Jeffery Wayne Ridner, 42, of 30134 Highway 110, Ardmore, Tenn., possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence

• Jeffrey Ryan Solomon, 29, of 1308 Elkton St., Athens, public intoxication and third-degree theft

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts and incidents Thursday:

• .25-caliber pistol, value $200, stolen between Feb. 25 and March 4 in 1200 block Seventh Avenue

• Boots, value $3, stolen March 5 in 100 block U.S. 31

• Flashlight, value $60, stolen March 6 at Walmart

• Three wind-up eggs, two pencil sharpeners, shampoo, eye shadow, three Easter bulids, eye drops, dog food, wheel covers and various other items, total value $208, stolen March 5 at Walmart

• Motorola droid mini cellphone, value $500, stolen March 5 in 15200 block Clodessa Drive

• Criminal mischief to light bulb, value $2, on March 4 in 200 block Sanderfer Road
