County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Friday and Saturday:

• Brian Keith Allen, 53, of 513 10th St., Portageville, Mo., possession of a controlled substance

• Lorenzo Renard Griffin, 28, of 13096 Breken Ridge Drive, Athens, probation revoked on previous conviction for possession of drug paraphernalia

• Jonathan Renda Hines, 31, of 600 Ninth Ave., Apt. C-15, Athens, third-degree burglary

• Brody Paul Lockett, 35, of 1186 Old Salem Road, Eclectic, violated probation on previous convictions for felon fleeing, grand theft motor vehicle and attempt to elude officer

• Juvenile, of Athens, possession of drug paraphernalia

• Donald Ray Taylor II, 37, of 18363 Upland Trail, Athens, four counts of third-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Jeremy Lee Tucker, 20, of 27575 Ranch Hill Road, Toney, harassment and probation revoked on previous conviction for third-degree criminal mischief

• Jeremie Daniel Turner, 31, of Budget Inn, Apt. 161, Athens, grand jury indictment for manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession/sell of a precursor

• Kimberly Bennett Bartlett, 40, of 28615 Old Scrouge Road, Elkmont, third-degree domestic violence (assault)

• William Flint Childers, 34, of 2400 12th St., Apt-F, Huntsville, possession of a precursor and possession of a controlled substance

• Scott Francis Connell, 39, of 13424 Shelly Drive, Madison, driving under the influence and resisting arrest

• Jacob Zachary Lee Miller, 19, of 1701 Trace End Trail, Athens, second-degree theft

• Brandt Wayne Murphy, 32, of 19911 Piney Chapel Road, Athens, probation revoked on previous conviction for third-degree theft

• Janice Elaine Stafford, 49, of 5790 Highway 43, Tuscumbia, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance and second-degree possession of marijuana

• Ryan Price Tunstill, 36, of 2146 Lindsay Lane, Athens, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Zachary Wayne Weatherford, 23, of 18256 Edgewood Road, Athens, bond revoked on previous charge of third-degree burglary

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday and Friday:

• R-Gun T-15 rifle, value $1,200, stolen between March 1 and April 22 in 17100 block U.S. 72

• Three Abu Garcia STX reels, five Duckett rods, Shimano rod, Carrot Stix rod, three Bass Pro Shop Extreme reels, Cabela's Crank rod and Bass Pro Shop President reel, total value $1,990, stolen between April 18 and 23 in 26600 block Pine Drive

• Tractor parts/radiators, value $2,550, stolen between April 12 and 23 in 13300 block Snake Road

• Rossi .38-caliber handgun, Makita circular saw, two diamond rings and cash, total value $1,390, stolen April 23 in 19400 block Sharp Road

• Medications, cash and .22-caliber handgun, total value $445

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported no new arrests Friday.

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following theft Friday:

• Black wallet, red wallet, cash and Alabama non-driver ID card, total value $180, stolen between April 24 and 25 in 100 block Fifth Avenue
