County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Steven Lee Bentley, 41, of 21718 Rochelle Road, Athens, menacing

• Rosie Hope Glass, 32, of 700 Fifth Ave., Apt. 7, Athens, harassment

• James Ruben Hatter, 35, of 16606 Hampton Lane, Athens, third-degree burglary

• Jeffrey Lane Isbell Jr., 40, of 27495 Copeland Road, Athens, violated probation on previous conviction for third-degree burglary

• Miguel Mendoza Martinez, 31, of 13510 Blackburn Road, Lot 7, Athens, detained for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

• Martin Romero Nava, 33, of 422 Hargrove St., Athens, detained for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

• Joshua Loyd Whitt, 27, of 29446 Pulaski Pike, Huntsville, two counts of third-degree burglary, violated probation on previous conviction for DUI, and grand jury indictment for third-degree burglary and breaking and entering a vehicle

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following theft Wednesday:

• TANNER — Two air-conditioner units, no value given, stolen between March 7 and 11 in 20400 block Huntsville-Browns Ferry Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Wednesday:

• Jessica Amanda Adams, 22, of 217 Cedar Lake Road SW, Apt. 31, Decatur, third-degree theft

• Tervarius Eugene Horton, 26, of 19106 Lydia Corey Road, Athens, third-degree theft

• Jesse Dale Lewter, 28, of 25823 Wooley Springs Road, Athens, second-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Randy Paul Nesmith, 22, of 1400 Evangel Drive, Huntsville, violated probation on previous charges of filing false report and possession of drug paraphernalia

• Amanda Katherine Toon, 28, of 25823 Wooley Springs Road, Athens, second-degree possession of a forged instrument

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Wednesday:

• Various dog food, peanut-butter crackers, total value $82, stolen March 12 at Walmart

• Gold bracelet, various gold rings, earrings with gold loops and gold earrings with diamonds, neckless with gold cross, total value $1,460, stolen March 4 in 700 block West Washington Street

• Miscellaneous clothing, 32-inch flat-screen TV, Afterglow Batman Xbox 360 controller and wired Xbox 360 controller, Xbox 360 wiring, miscellaneous food, bag of puppy food, Oblivion Xbox game and Skyrim Xbox 360 game, total value $348, stolen March 11 in 1300 block Tommy Lane
