County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Linda Weems Hall, 68, of 1405 Coleman Ave., Athens, negotiating worthless negotiable instrument

• Roger Dale McGee, 65, of 17191 Norwood Way, Athens, public intoxication

• David Allen Roth, 34, of 16693 Brownsferry Road, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (assault)

• Charles Edward Ard, 50, of 1500 U.S. 72, Room 115, Athens, driving under the influence of alcohol

• Kevin Dewayne Boldin, 46, of 1310 Starnes St., Guntersville, possession of drug paraphernalia

• Phyllis Lynn Cain, 48, of 13873 Monarch Way, Athens, first-degree theft

• Gary Wayne Eckstein, 33, of 27696 Alabama 251, Ardmore, DUI

• Jacob Alec Pylant, 23, of 27947 Alabama 251, Ardmore, three counts of negotiating worthless negotiable instrument and bond revocation on a previous conviction for second-degree theft

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following theft Monday:

• TANNER – John Deere utility vehicle and Caldwel Jib 8000 forklift, total value $8,611, stolen between Nov. 1, 2013, and Feb. 1 from the 22000 block of Thomas Hammons Road

• ATHENS – Huffy 10-speed bicycle valued at $40 stolen Saturday from the 22000 block of Buttermilk Way

• ATHENS – BMX bicycle and Huffy bicycle, total value $225, stolen Saturday or Sunday from the 22000 block of Piney Chapel Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Iain Matthew McAvoy, 21, of 354 Puncheon Branch Road, Minor Hill, Tenn., third-degree theft of property

• Paula Delaine Paulk, 44, of 12772 Hickory Hills Road, Athens, third-degree theft of property

• William Justin Powers, 30, of 1302 Tower St., Athens, DUI

• Sierra Renee Jimmison, 25, of 702 S. Houston St., Athens, public intoxication

• Hermelindo Jimenez Javier, 51, of 13484 Sweet Pea St., Athens, DUI and on hold by county for Immigration and Customs Enforcement

• Tanesha LeeAnn Reedus, 31, of 905 Frazier St., Athens, arrested for another agency

• Alexandria Lynne Davis, 21, of 109 Virginia Drive, Athens, third-degree theft

• Clinton Harold Dugger, 31, of 21804 David Drive, Elkmont, probation violation on a previous conviction for menacing

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following incidents and thefts Monday:

• Mazda B3000 pickup truck, 10-speed Huffy bicycle, driver license, $23 in currency, and iPod Shuffle, total value $6,183, stolen Thursday or Friday from the 400 block of East Pryor Street

• Various checks and U.S. currency, total value $8,835.12, stolen Friday from the 1100 block of U.S. 72 East

• Five pairs of Nike socks valued at $58.96 stolen Friday from the 200 block of French Farms Boulevard

• Criminal mischief causing $250 to a rear metal door Friday in the 1100 block of North Houston Street

• Unauthorized use of a Chevrolet Impala Friday in the 300 block of Spring Street

• Two coffemakers, valued at $57.80, stolen Saturday from Walmart

• Five various pieces of merchandise and a 20-ounce bottle of Sundrop, total value $43.57, stolen Saturday from Walmart

• Four 25-pound bags of aluminum cans, valued at $60, stolen during the breaking and entering of a vehicle Saturday or Sunday in the 900 block of West Washington Street

• Camo purse, Traditions debit card, Wells Fargo debit card, Garmin GPS, currency, billfold, food stamp card, phone charger and birth certificate, total value $271, stolen Monday from the 500 block of First Street
