County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests for Saturday and Sunday:

• Timothy Darnell Maynor, 29, of 1104 Henry Drive, Athens, third-degree burglary

• Susan Lynn Thul, 49, of 117 Season Lane, Huntsville, driving under the influence of alcohol

• Demetris Duane Clark, 27, of 1900 Carriage Drive, Phenix, charged on warrants out of Troup County, Ga., with four counts of attempting elude law enforcement, first-degree illegal possession of marijuana, reckless driving, no driver license and tampering with evidence

• Martie Allan Gaiter, 42, of 241 Dejan Road, Madison, failure to yield, open container and DUI

• Bose Heard Jr., 58, of 107 Fifth Ave., Athens, public intoxication

• Jeffery Henderson Stanford, 39, of 305 Lester Road, Lester, probation revoked on an original charge of DUI

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts for Saturday and Sunday:

• ATHENS – 200 feet of copper wire, valued at $300, stolen Oct. 30 from the 14000 block of Blackburn Road

• ATHENS – Four wheels and tires from a Mazda and four wheels and tires from a Dodge, total value $1,600 stolen Nov. 1 from the 17000 block of Brownsferry Road

• ATHENS – Section of fence and a central unit, total value $6,000, stolen May 1 (reported Nov. 2) from the 16000 block of Lydia Corey Road, Athens

• ARDMORE – Debit card stolen from the 22000 block of Mooresville Road, Ardmore, between Oct. 25-30

• ATHENS – Pack of razors stolen Saturday from the 12000 block of U.S. 72 West, Athens

• ATHENS – Dual axle Eagle Boat trailer, valued at $2,000, stolen between April 1 and Saturday from the 6000 block of Bay Village Drive, Athens

• ATHENS – Honda 400 Ex four-wheeler and a Honda Ranger four-wheeler, valued at a total of $5,000, stolen Saturday or Sunday from the 21000 block of Hold Road, Athens

• ATHENS – Wallet with cash and credit cards, valued $480, stolen Saturday from Shaw Road, Lot 3, Athens

• ATHENS – Antique table, a Carver amplifier, two Akia Woodgrain speakers, a Sound Design speaker, total value $350, stolen between Oct. 13 and Sunday from U.S. 72 West, Athens

• ELKMONT – Credit card, no value, stolen Nov. 2 from the 28000 block of Pettusville Road, Elkmont

• ATHENS – LG flatscreen 52-inch TV, candles, pink lamp and back massager, total value $580, stolen Sunday from Alabama 251, Athens

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Saturday and Sunday:

• Angel Jeanene Pennington, 31, of 2100 Fairfax St., Huntsville, probation revoked on an original charge of second-degree illegal possession of marijuana

• Cheri Jean Twitty, 40, of 1210 Plato Jones St., Athens, possession of a controlled substance

• Kyle Andre House, 22, of 1302 Pruitt St., Athens, distribution of a controlled substance

• Nickolas Orlando Gordon, 23, of 1505 Coleman Ave., Athens, distribution of a controlled substance and first-degree possession of marijuana

• Jason Ryan Frakes, 33, of 14236 Pulaski Pike, Ardmore, driving with a revoked license and speeding

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Saturday and Sunday:

• $300 damage to a Nissan 240SX windshield at 1109 N. Jefferson St., Athens, Nov. 1

• Theft of services on a 2012 Nissan Versa between Sept. 26 and Nov. 2 in the 22000 block of U.S. 72 E., Suite A, Athens

• One-inch Drive Impact wrench, Mac battery charger, Case IH model portable generator and International red pedal tractor, total value $2,300, stolen between Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, from the 11000 block of U.S. 31 S., Athens

• AT&T iPhone 4S, valued at $400, stolen Nov. 2 from Athens Middle School

• $50 in damage to a fence gate in an act of criminal mischief Nov. 2 or 3 in the 18000 block of Cypress Point Drive

• $345 in damage to a TV, microwave, lampshade, coffee maker and telephone line, Nov. 3 in the 1200 block of Kelli Drive, Room 213

• Taurus .380 SS, valued at $222.22, stolen between Nov. 1-3 from the 16000 block of Greer Street, Athens

• Trailer, Toro zero-turn mower, Husgavarna weed cutter, Troy Built weed cutter, Troy Built push mower, total value $2,450, stolen Nov. 3 from the 700 block of Clinton St., Sandpiper No. 8B

• Antique lamps, antique china set, hub puller, timing tools, Craftsmen sockets, Christmas lights, antique perfume bottles and Devilvis paint guns, total value $10,000, Nov. 3 from Westside Mini Storage

• Cannon Rebel XT camera, valued at $200, stolen Nov. 3 or 4 from the 400 block of Cloverleaf Drive

Wrecks

• One-car wreck on Brownsferry Street, between Pruitt and Hine streets, on Nov. 2 injured Helen Sanders Moore of Athens.

• Two-car wreck on U.S. 31 South, between Ridgedale Street and Hatfield Lake Road, injured Lora A. Toney of Tanner and Darian Lamar Walker of Tanner on Nov. 4.
