County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Michael Ray Henley, 30, of 514 Markingdale Road, Arab, possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication

• Cricket Darlene Kimbrough, 30, of 20431 Bonnie Blue Way, Athens, probation revocation on previous charge of third-degree theft

• Jason Edward Pendergrass, 32, of 23063 John Way, No. 14, Athens, third-degree assault

• Jason Daniel Roberts, 30, of 20431 Bonnie Blue Way, Athens, bond revocation on previous charge of driving under the influence

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Thursday:

• ELKMONT – 1997 Ford F-150 truck valued at $2,000 stolen Wednesday from 23000 block Upper Fort Hampton Road

• ELKMONT – Purse with contents, unknown value, stolen from 22000 block Sugar Way

between April 24 and Oct. 3

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Spencer Charles Alred, 29, of 15464 Lucas Ferry Road, Athens, second-degree receiving stolen property, first-degree possession of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon, felon in possession of a firearm

• Tonya Michelle Cantrell, 24, of 1314 Woodall Road, Decatur, third-degree theft

• Mitchell Joseph Caldwell, 34, of 18384 Oakdale Road, Lot J, Athens, driving while license revoked

• Charles Edward Shelton, 56, of 19 You-Take-It Road, Ardmore, Tenn., DUI (combined substances)

City thefts 

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:

• Propane lantern, folding camping table, Coleman portable gas grill, reclining camp chair, three camping chairs, tool set, Open Range TT model recreational vehicle, and Ozark canopy, partial total $820, stolen during burglary in 15000 block Kings Drive between Sept. 29 and Oct. 3

• 30 Suboxone, valued at $1, and $258 in cash stolen from Oct. 4 from Bomar Inn

• Pair of sunglasses valued at $6 stolen Oct. 3 from 1200 block East Pryor Street

• An ax, Husqvarna Rancher 455 chainsaw and Husqvarna Rancher 460 chainsaw, total $948, stolen during vehicle break-in from 72 Automotive on Sanderfer Road between Sept. 19 and Sept. 20

• Garmin GPS and $5 in change, total $205, stolen during vehicle break-in Oct. 3 or 4 from 300 block East Lee Street
