County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Johnnie Wayne Adams, 38, of 213 Cloverleaf Drive,Apt. 8, Athens, parole violation

• Tracy Dale Borden, 41, of 1498 Alabama 67 South, Lot Q, Decatur, second-degree promoting prison contraband and violated probation on previous conviction for driving under the influence

• Teresa Joe Kyle, 32, of 1420 Vinta Mill Road, Lot 24, Prospect, Tenn., 14 counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Stephanie Marie Minor, 27, of 167 Dexter Circle, Madison, third-degree theft

• Matthew Donald Smith, 22, of 32000 Ardmore Ridge Road, Ardmore, Tenn., DUI

• Lawery  Wayne Tucker, 68, of 303 Christopher Drive, Athens, first-degree theft

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• ATHENS – Dewalt brand reciprocate saw, valued at $345, stolen between Sept. 24 and Oct. 4 from 18000 block Oakdale Road

• ARDMORE – Game console and three game controllers, total value $310, burglarized between Oct. 3 and 6 in 29000 block Oliver Road

• Saddle with wooden horn and five halter/bridle combos, total value $780, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle Oct. 6 on Piney Chapel Road at Rails to Trails

• ATHENS – Hi Point brand 9 mm handgun, valued at $189, stolen between Oct. 5 and 6, from 1600 block West 13th Street

• ATHENS – JVC brand CD player and four quarts of motor oil, total value $170, stolen between Oct. 6 and 7 from 15000 block Lindsay Lane

• ATHENS – Black purse and contents, no value given, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle between Oct. 7 and 8 in 24000 block Lisa Drive

• ATHENS – Check book, no value given, taken during breaking and entering of a vehicle between Oct. 7 and 8 in 18000 block Oakdale Road

• ATHENS – Jewelry, valued at $2,120, stolen between Sept. 29 and Oct. 7 from 19000 block Yarbrough Road

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Jessica Leann Hayes, 22, of 15932 Alabama 251, Athens, DUI

• Israel Martinez Romero, 35, of 606 Brownsferry St., Athens, DUI

• Bradley Allen Fournier, 23, of 411 Otter Creek Drive, Kissimmee, Fla., DUI

• Charles Daniel Springer, 23, of 13774 Robinson Lane, Elkmont, possession of drug paraphernalia

• Michael James Kent, 38, of 16630 Fort Hampton Road, Lot 21, Elkmont, violation of sex offender act regarding prohibited employment location
