City thefts 

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• Purse and contents, coins and driver’s license stolen, damage to glass on back door of Chevrolet Trailblazer, total value/estimate $300, on Oct. 9 in 800 block North Madison Street

• Blue-red heeler dog, valued at $50, stolen Oct. 9 from 200 block Coman Street

• Tools, valued at $1,500, stolen between Oct. 5 and 9, at Marion and Bryan streets


• Patricia G. Jones of Athens was injured in a wreck at 1:05 p.m. Monday on Hobbs Street between U.S. 31 and Shaw Street – Athens Police
