. — County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Jose Oscar Torbio Cruz, 29, of 11764 Gary Redus Drive, Lot 2, Tanner, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)  

• Rebecca Michelle Rainey, 41, of 1603 Sanderfer St., Athens, negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Donald Lamar Smith, 33, of 1 Marantha Way, Rogersville, DUI, violating license to carry a pistol and interference with custody

• Rickie Lee Tucker, 50, of 203 Cloverleaf Drive, Apt. 3, Athens, DUI

• Robert Lee Vandermarkt, 25, of 112 Bates St., Athens, second-degree theft (Madison warrant) 

• Anthony Wayne Burroughs, 39, of 24635 Lisa Drive, Athens, third-degree domestic violence (harassment)

• Laura Renee Clemons, 27, of 19910 Elkton Road, Athens, 11 counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument

• Felipe Torres Lopez, 22, of 1713 W. Elm St., Apt. 1, Athens, possession of a controlled substance

• Joseph Dain Rhineheimer, 27, of 22296 Sugarway, Elkmont, second-degree possession of a forged instrument

• Travis Eugene Sims, 39, of 23525 Slatt Road, Lot 3, Athens, second-degree receiving stolen property 

• Kalmath Gene Weatherford, 51, of 15529 Menefee Road, Harvest, first-degree theft, second-degree theft and violating terms of probation on previous conviction for second-degree theft (Limestone County Community Corrections Program)

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Monday:

• ATHENS — Troy-Bilt brand garden tiller valued at $450 stolen from 15000 block of Ripley Road between Nov. 24 and Dec. 8  

• ARDMORE — Silver bracelet valued at $191 stolen Dec. 8 from 28000 block Alabama 53

• ATHENS — Benelli brand 12-gauge shotgun valued at $400 stolen Nov. 28 from 23000 block Black Road

• MADISON — Three checkbooks and $10 in cash stolen Dec. 9 from 12000 block Dickens Lane, Madison

• ATHENS — $200 in change stolen during burglary Dec. 10 from 18000 block Sunflower Way

• ATHENS — Copper wiring valued at $100 stolen during burglary in 22000 block Pine Road between Dec. 10 and 11

• ATHENS — $100 in cash and $6,400 in jewelry stolen Dec. 11 from 22000 block Pine Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Monday:

• Amy N. Summers, 30, of 5620 Tackett’s Branch Road, Goodsprings, Tenn., third-degree theft of property

• Haston Cordell Hampton, 55, of 10625 Cedar Acres, Madison, contempt of court

• Robert Wayne Lovell, 38, of 25840 U.S. 72, Athens, third-degree theft by deception

• Crystal Dee Craig, 36, of 328 Lookout Drive, Columbia, Tenn., theft

• Brandon Dewayne Mosley, 20, of 1201 Brownsferry St., Athens, attempting to elude and disorderly conduct

• Nathaniel Keith Harbin, 29, of 21290 Tillman Mill Road, Elkmont, arrest for Madison Police Department

• Roberto Moreno Hernandez, 34, of Bomar Inn, 1101 U.S. 31, Room 130, Athens, DUI

• Carlos Regazzoni Cain, 34, of 1303 Woodside Drive, Harvest, Athens, driving under the influence and attempting to elude

• Stefanie Dee League, 40, of 23057 Austin Whitt Road, Ardmore, Tenn., DUI (alcohol and other drug)
