County arrests

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Chad Arkest Carter, 44, of 402 N. Jefferson St., Apt. G-3, Athens, third-degree domestic violence and second-degree assault

• Mark Chatman Jr., 18, of 102 Bridgecrest Drive, Harvest, charged with three counts of burglary

• Larry Donell Malone, 53, of 1410 12th St., Athens, public intoxication

• Melanie Beth McAdams, 52, of 6804 Mooresville Road, Athens, third-degree criminal mischief

• Shawn Allen Nave, 26, of 9350 Poplar Point Road, Athens, driving under the influence of drug s

• Bobby Wayne Russell, 38, of 3115 County Road 1386, Falkville, violating terms of probation on previous conviction for possession of a controlled substance

• Shaneka Lashell Williams, 19, of 116 Scotland Drive, Athens, second-degree receiving stolen property

County thefts

Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported no thefts Thursday.

City arrests

Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Thursday:

• Tiffany Michelle Fennell, 26, of 27761 Wooley Springs Road, Athens, criminal trespass and third-degree theft of property  

City thefts

Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Thursday:

• Purses, handbags and wallets, unknown amount of cash, two Regions Bank negotiable instruments, four credit or debit cards, driver’s license and keys to car and home, total $55, stolen during burglary Nov. 12 in 1900 block West Hobbs Street

• One counterfeit $50 bill passed Nov. 20 in 1200 block West Market Street

• Three counterfeit dollar bills passed Nov. 21 in 800 block U.S. 31 South
