Local FBLA students celebrate American Enterprise Day


Students in Debbie Wilson’s business management program at the Limestone County Career Technical Center recently celebrated American Enterprise Day with a field trip to the downtown square in Athens. The day was spent speaking to business owners and learning about the responsibilities of owning and operating a business.  

Owners emphasized this year’s holiday theme — “Shop Downtown First” — and the importance of having a solid business plan, great communication skills, and top notch customer service skills.
