West Limestone Boy Scout Pack 221 will sell breakfast and lunch items at a yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon today at Salem United Methodist Church Family Life Center.



Lodge 391 turkey shoot

North Border Masonic Lodge 391 will have a turkey shoot beginning at 8 a.m. today and chicken stew beginning at 10 a.m. at the Sheriff’s Rodeo Arena on Alabama 99. Shoot for $3 a shot; stew is $8 per half-gallon; $14 per gallon. For more information, call (256) 614-0608.

Christmas Open House

The 22nd annual Christmas Open House sponsored by Spirit of Athens and the Chamber of Commerce will be today and Sunday on the courthouse square. Respite night canceled

East Limestone Boy Scout Troop 236 will be offering North Carolina Frasier Fir Christmas trees for sale. Proceeds will go to purchase a trailer for troop equipment.
