Used book sale

The Friends of Athens-Limestone Public Library will hold a used book sale from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday at the library at 405 E. South St. Contact: 256-232-1233.

Meet the Eagles dinner

The Athens High School Booster Club will hold their annual Meet the Eagles Winter Sports Dinner at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, in the Athens High School cafeteria. Cost is $5 per person. Athletes and coaches eat free. Join the Booster Club and your family eats free. Contact 256-233-6613.

Donnell House preview

The Donnell House will host a preview party from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, as part of this year’s “Festival of Trees: A Civil War Christmas.” The cost is $20 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the door or by contacting Jacque Reeves at jacquereeves@avalontours.com. The house will also be open the following dates: Friday, Nov. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 17, from 1 to 5 p.m.; Sunday, Nov. 18, from 1 to 5 p.m.; Thursday, Nov. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m.; Friday, Nov. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 1, from 1 to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 2, from 1 to 5 p.m. The price for tours is $8 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Groups of 10 or more may schedule a tour by calling Tiffany Seibert at 251-232-2952 or 256-233-7602.

Holiday Home Tour
