• Truth Baptist concert. Praise 24 New Journey will appear in concert at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 30, at Truth Baptist Church.

• Free Meal. Emmanuel Church of God in Christ will offer a free meal starting at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at 503 Hine Street. Contact: Bill Downs 256-431-1780.

• Watch Night Gospel singing. Grace Full Gospel Church at 27267 Bain Road will have a Watch Night Gospel Singing beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31. Featured singers will be Joyful Hearts, The Carter Family and others. For more information, call Leon Layne at 256-874-4753.

• Watch Night Service. Friendship Stateline Freewill Baptist Church will hold a New Year’s Eve Watch Night Service at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at 13363 Stateline Road, Taft, Tenn. Marcus Morrow will deliver the message. Featured singers include Morrow and Denise Hopkins-Jaco. Contact: 256-828-0386.

• Watch Night Service. The Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church will hold its annual Watch Night Service beginning at 10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31. This year’s guest speaker is the Rev. Jermaine Turner and Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The choirs of Pine Grove and Indian Creek will present the song service. Breakfast will be available.
