• Concert. The Nordic Choir of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 980 Hughes Road in Madison. The 75-member a cappella choir will present a program consisting of hymn arrangements and spirituals. UAHuntsville’s REAL MEN SING program featuring Huntsville area male vocalists will also perform. Tickets not required but donations are accepted.

• Valentine Tea. Fancy dresses and Sunday suits are welcome at the annual Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church Valentine Tea at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at 27971 Easter Ferry Road. Bible discussions, games, food and fun. No services at the church Feb. 24.

• Quarterly singing. Oakland Church of Christ will hold its quarterly singing at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at 18111 Townsend Ford Road in Athens. Public is invited. Contact: 256-233-8775.

• Black history celebration. The Trinity High School Class of 1966 will host its Black History Month Celebration at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Village View United Methodist Church. Pastor Gaylon Darby will be the guest speaker. Music is provided by the Round Island Male Choir.

• Fellowship. Deliverance Outreach will have fellowship with New Zion P.B. Church in Harvest at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10. Speaker of the hour is Pastor Aaron Jones. Deliverance Outreach is in charge of the service.
