Old-time Christmas musical
An old-time Christmas musical will be at 2 p.m. today at the Senior Center on Pryor Street. Performers will include Denver and Tina Betts; Threefold; Cornerstone; Sister Grace and Forgiven Four. Proceeds will benefit medical expenses for cancer victim Vicki Bedingfield. Tickets are $5 at the door.
A&M Christmas Musicale
The 84th annual Christmas Musicale, featuring the Alabama A&M University choir, will be held at 5:30 p.m. today in the T.M. Elmore Building on the AAMU campus. The free event is open to the public.
Pickin’ & Grinnin’

Lincoln-Bridgeforth tree lighting

Benefit toy drive
Owens Volunteer Fire Department will host a benefit toy drive from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Dollar General story on Alabama 99. The Elkmont High School band will hold a chicken stew at 11 a.m. Saturday at the downtown Elkmont Volunteer Fire Department. Gallon is $18 and quarts are $5. Bring own containers.
