• Gospel music. Giles County Gospel Music Singing Convention is Friday and Saturday, March 14-15 at Bunker Hill Church of God, 3231 Bunker Hill Road, Pulaski, Tenn. Barbecue/chicken plates at $8 each ($4 age 12 and under) served at 5 p.m. Singing starts at 6:30.Featured acts: Driven on March 14 and The Servants on March 15. Several acts will perform each night. Free admission. Public invited.

• Yard sale. The Saint Mark Primitive Baptist Church yard sale for Relay for Life begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 15. The church is at 740 Sanderfer Road in Athens.

• Gospel singing. Friendship Stateline Freewill Baptist Church at 13363 Stateline Road in Taft, Tenn., will hold a gospel singing at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 15. Special singers include The Lovelace Family of Burnsville, Miss., and Denise Hopkins-Jaco of Toney.

• Singing. Under Conviction from Knoxville, Tenn., will sing at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 15 and 11 a.m. Sunday, March 16, at Majestic Chapel on Hays Mill Road in Elkmont. More information: Pastor Mike Webster 256-431-8038.

• Anniversary. Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church in Belle Mina celebrates its 144th anniversary at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16. Elder Jerry Crutcher and Little Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church will be guests.

• Women Potential. Bondage Breakers presents Women Potential at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 21, and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 22 at Kingdomway Christian Center, 811 Horton St., in Athens. Event includes mini-breakfast, giveaways, testimonies, poems and praise. More information:  Pastor Cordell Hunter 256-919-4862.

• Youth Day/Revival. The Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church Youth Day service is at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 23. Minister Michael Timberlake will speak. The Youth Revival is at 7 p.m. March 24-26. Minister Jeremy Garner will speak.
