Duct tape crafts for teens
The Athens-Limestone Public Library will host a free DIY Craft Day from 3-4:30 p.m. Monday. Teens can drop in anytime to create a duct tape wallet, bookmark, cellphone case, or something of their choice. All materials supplied, no registration required. For teens only. West Limestone Band Boosters will hold a pancake breakfast 8-10 a.m. Saturday at Applebee’s on U.S. 72. Tickets are $5 and available from any West Limestone band member or booster. Proceeds benefit the band.

Home and Garden Show
The Limestone County Home and Garden Show is at 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 1-2, at Limestone County Event Center. No admission fee. Demonstrations, kid activities, register for door prizes.
Tickets to the Calhoun Community College production of William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” are available for $10 for students and $12 for general admission. Women’s History Month
March is National Women’s History Month, and this year the Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives in Athens will present “Celebrating Women of Character, Courage & Commitment,” a celebration of women in the Vietnam War.
