Active duty military and veterans needing help with claims or other information can visit the Disabled American Veterans’ mobile service office between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, in the Walmart parking lot on U.S. 72 in Athens.

Prostate cancer screening

A free prostate cancer screening will be held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Madison County Health Department at 310 Max Luther Drive in Huntsville. Used book sale

FBLA car wash benefit

The Athens High School Future Business Leaders of America will host a car wash to benefit Red Cross for Oklahoma tornado relief from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Limestone Veterinary Clinic in Athens. Cost is $5 per car.

Pleasant Point Cemetery

Free breakfast and lunch is being provided July 15-Aug. 2 at the Piney Chapel Elementary cafeteria for any child through age 18 living in Limestone County. Breakfast is 7:45-8:15 a.m. and lunch is from 11-11:30 a.m.
