— • VBS. Elkmont Baptist Church, Rural Village in Elkmont is holding registration for vacation Bible school at 5:45 p.m. through July 27. Children in kindergarten through sixth grade are invited. VBS is 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 5:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday.

• Women’s ministry. Leading Ladies Women’s Ministry will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, at Pleasant Grove Church Family, 15439 Hastings Road in Athens. Faye Malone will minister. The public is invited. Contact: 256-216-0660.

• Pianist performance. Sardis Springs Baptist Church, at 18310 Alabama 251 in Athens will host pianist Adam King and saxophonist NathanWoodward in a 6 p.m. performance Sunday, July 28. The concert is free with a love offering. Contact: Steve Jacobs 256-233-0912.

• Revival. Antioch CPCA at 923 Brownsferry St. in Athens is inviting the public to its annual revival services at 7 nightly from July 29-31. Guest minister is the Rev. William Robinson, pastor of St. James CPCA No. 2 in Toney and vice moderator of the general assembly of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America. Contact: 256-851-7747.

• Summer Revival. The Mount Nebo Summer Revival is being held at 7 nightly July 29-31 at 27971 Easter Ferry Road in Lester. Various speakers and choirs will be featured each night. Public invited.

• Anniversary. St. Mark P.B. Church of Athens will celebrate its 100th church anniversary with a banquet at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Garden Plaza and Suites (Holiday Inn) in Decatur. Guest speaker is Elder Jeffery Rainey of Christian Union P.B. Church in Mobile. Tickets are required for banquet.  Celebration continues with an 11 a.m. worship service and hold communion on Sunday, Aug. 4. • Family & Friends Day. Greater Hope M.B. Church at 14065 Lucas Ferry Road will hold Family & Friends Day at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. Pastor Antoyne Green of New Life M.B. Church will be guest speaker.

• Gospel meeting. A gospel meeting will be held Aug. 4-7 at Bethel Church of Christ, 26772 Capshaw Road in Athens. Speakers include Kyle Butt, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Aug. 4; Bill Cantrell, 6 p.m., Aug. 4; Mark Posey, 7 p.m., Aug. 5; Glenn Colley, 7 p.m., Aug. 6; and Wayne Kilpatrick, 7 p.m., Aug. 7.

    Spaghetti dinner fundraiser
    Vietnam Veterans of America, chapter 511, will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday at the VVA building, 17915 W. Elm St. The $7 meal includes spaghetti, garlic toast, salad, dessert and drink. Take out or eat in. Proceeds benefit the VVA scholarship fund. More information: 256-206-5399.
