Alabama Veterans Museum & Archives Coffee Call will be from 8-9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5. It is sponsored by Rose and Grover Gardner and Champion Chevrolet. The museum is at 100 W. Pryor St., Athens.
Fit-As-A-Fiddle Relay for Life 5K
Hosted by the City of Athens Relay for Life Team and sponsored in part by Steelcase, Chick-fil-A and Fleet Feet Sports. Start is at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Sportsplex on U.S. 31.
