— • Pancake breakfast. Lebanon Community Church at 13500 Lebanon Road in Elkmont will hold a pancake breakfast from 6-10 a.m. Nov. 2. Includes a variety of pancake choices, bacon or sausage and coffee or juice. Advance tickets $4 (call Sean at 256-655-1054), day of tickets $5.

• Chicken stew. Oak Grove CME Church will hold its annual chicken stew from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Nov. 2. Cost is $6 per quart.

• Singing. Grace Full Gospel Church at 27267 Bain Road in Athens will hold a singing at 6 p.m. Nov. 2. Singers are Friendship Quartet and The Carter Family. The public is welcome. More information: 256-232-8563.

• Quarterly singing. Oakland Church of Christ at 18111 Townsend Ford Road in Athens will hold its quarterly singing at 7 p.m. Nov. 2. The public is invited. More information: 256-729-8866.

• Fall Revival.  New Life Church at 2314 S. Hine St. in Athens will hold its Fall Revival at 7 p.m. Nov. 4-6. Pastor Gary W. Battles of the Hurricane Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Huntsville is the guest preacher. Music by: St. James CPCA Mass Choir on Monday; Blackburn Chapel CPCA Mass Choir on Tuesday, Nov. 5; and the Hurricane Chapel Church Choir on Wednesday. The public is invited. • Fall Revival. Oak Grove C.M.E. Church on Cowford Road is holding its Fall Revival with elder Janice Lewis at 7 nightly Nov. 4-6.

• Gospel meeting. The 807 W. Sanderfer Road Church of Christ gospel meeting will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 8, 6 p.m. Nov. 9 and 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 10. Refreshments follow Saturday and Sunday services at 218 Breach Creek Guest House.

• Anniversary. Bright Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America on Mooresville Road will celebrate its anniversary at 2 p.m. Nov. 10. The Rev. Dr. Theodis Acklin and Briar Fork CPCA will be in charge of the service. The public is invited.

• Installation services. Installation services for newly elected pastor, the Rev. Jevon D. Turner will be held at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at Peace Missionary Baptist Church at 1214 Plainview Circle in Athens. Guest church and speaker at 11 a.m. service. The Rev. Earnest Williams and Mount Zion M.B. Church of Harvest are the 2:30 p.m. guests. Round Island Creek Missionary Baptist Assoc. will also take part in services.

• Choir Weekend. The Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church Music Ministry will celebrate Choir Weekend on Nov. 9-10. On Sunday, Rev. Antoyne Green, pastor of New Life M. B. Church, will be the guest preacher at the 8 and 11 a.m. services. The theme for choir weekend is “Remembering Our History” (Isaiah 46:9).
