Charity pancake breakfast

Friends of Athens-Limestone Public Library will hold a used book sale from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. today at the library, 405 E. South St. More information: 256-232-1233.

VVA hosting band

Yard sale fundraiser

The T&C Stamping Inc. yard sale to benefit the American Cancer Society begins at 8 a.m. today at 1403 Freeman Ave., in Athens. Items include clothing, furniture, toys, home decor, appliances and sporting goods.

Coffee Call

The Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives Coffee Call is 8-9 a.m. today at 100 W. Pryor St. Eugene and Jason Sanders are sponsors.

Craft and vendor fair

Twenty-plus crafters and vendors are expected for a craft and vendor fair from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. today at American Legion Post 49, 124 Cloverleaf Drive in Athens. More information: 256-698-8127.

Hilltop Car Show

A car show designed to kick off funding the revitalization of downtown Elkmont and other outreach programs will be held from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. today at the Elkmont Piggly Wiggly location. Registration is $25 and begins at 9 a.m. More information: 205-657-1600.

Turkey, ham and prize shoot

The event will be held 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. today at Vietnam Veterans of America building, 17915 W. Elm St. in Athens. Cost is $4 per shot. Shells and shotguns provided. Ready to eat chicken stew available at $5 per quart or all you can eat. Contact: 256-874-3622 or 206-5399.
