Barbecue fundraiser

Voter education program

A voter education program, presented by the Limestone NAACP, will be held noon until 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the NAACP office, 17308 U.S. 72 West. Topics will include voter registration, the importance of voting and getting out to vote.

EHS Class of '69 picnic

Spencer Black Fun Run

Registration is underway for the fourth annual Spencer Black 5K and 1-mile Fun Run set for 8:30 a.m. May 10 at Blue Springs Elementary School, 17687 Hardy Road at U.S. 72 West. Earth Day fundraiser

Dan Tera on South Jefferson Street is selling “Light the Way” candles for $12 each in honor of Earth Day. Proceeds go to The Global Greengrants Fund to help provide clean water worldwide.
