Hospice/MADD memorial service
Hospice of Limestone County and MADD are sponsoring a communitywide memorial service “Celebration of Remembrance & Hope” at 6 tonight at Saint Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Athens. ALERA day trip

Sheriff’s Coffee Call
Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Coffee Call will be held from 8-9 a.m. Saturday at the Sheriff’s Office at 101 W. Elm St., for all current, retired and former employees of law enforcement, support staff and others associated with law enforcement. Contact: 256-232-0111.

The Alabama Veterans Museum & Archives will hold their 10-year anniversary celebration honoring museum founder Ken David at noon Saturday. Refreshments will follow.
Breaking Dawn Ball
The Athens-Limestone Public Library will host a free Breaking Dawn Ball from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday in celebration of the upcoming release of the last movie in the “Twilight” saga.
