Hospice/MADD memorial service
Hospice of Limestone County and MADD are sponsoring a communitywide memorial service “Celebration of Remembrance & Hope” at 6 tonight at Saint Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Athens. ALERA day trip

Sheriff’s Coffee Call

Veterans Museum anniversary

Breaking Dawn Ball
The Athens-Limestone Public Library will host a free Breaking Dawn Ball from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday in celebration of the upcoming release of the last movie in the “Twilight” saga. Free Buffet for veterans/active duty military

The city of Athens Public Works Department at 1600 W. Elm St. is hosting a LifeSouth blood drive from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13. Donors will receive either an Alabama or Auburn T-shirt, cholesterol screening and snacks. Donors must be 17 or older, or 16 with parental consent and weigh at least 110 pounds.
